Our international clients include international funding institutions, commercial banks, and project developers in the mining, power, infrastructure, industry, and oil & gas sectors.

We are seeking an exceptional Agronomist to join our social assessment and resettlement team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience assessing agronomic aspects of social impact and resettlement internationally, having worked on large, multi-national projects in Eastern Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of agronomic assessments undertaken as part of wider social impact assessments, and undertaken alongside Resettlement Action Plans for operations requiring involuntary displacement of populations, including Livelihood Restoration Plans
  • Frequent travel to Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa, or Asia may be required
  • Preparation of Social Baselines, Social Impact Assessments, and Social Management Plans for large mining, power, infrastructure, or oil & gas projects
  • Social Due Diligence / Audits and Social Monitoring
  • Preparation of Stakeholder Engagement Plans
  • Input into technical and financial proposals as part of responses to calls for tenders, for the social component of the scope of work

The candidate should ideally have previous experience (2 to 5 years) working abroad and performing field investigations in the Middle East, Africa, or Asia.
