Job Overview
As a Lead Software Architect, you will work closely with the Game Engine team. Below are the key responsibilities associated with this role:
- Serve as the primary liaison for the Engine team, guiding programmers through various technical decisions.
- Manage complex technical projects that, while related to the engine, will impact multiple production disciplines (Engine, Gameplay, etc.).
- Provide support to the technical team, leveraging your expertise to assist throughout the production process, ensuring the highest quality for the game.
- Mentor other programmers on the project and implement initiatives that positively influence the entire studio.
Required Qualifications
- A strong background in programming with C++.
- Possess cross-disciplinary technical knowledge (UI, low-level programming, physics, etc.) and be proficient in complex debugging and optimization in a multithreaded environment.
- Confident in your ability to support tech teams and make a significant positive impact on technical decisions.
- Ideally, have a solid understanding of the video game industry and have contributed to the release of various games.
- Demonstrate autonomy, proactivity, and effective communication skills.
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
