Digital Workplace Services division empowers Amadeus operations by equipping our users with high efficiency, straightforward, and effective collaborative solutions. We are part of the Digital Transformation Services division under the Amadeus Chief Information Officer (CIO).

The offerings from the Digital Workplace Services (DWS) division primarily focus on collaboration, productivity, security, and cloud solutions.

Within DWS, the Programs and Project Management team (PPM) delivers comprehensive services to the DWS teams, including:

  • Project and program management for DWS initiatives
  • Digital Management Office (DMO) operations: overseeing DWS budget governance, financial tracking, Portfolio Management, OKR governance, and Change and Communications support for projects and programs
  • Security coordination for DWS teams.
Main responsibilities

As a Program Management Lead – Digital Workplace Services (DWS), you will guide and support a team of dedicated professionals overseeing intricate programs and projects within the DWS division.

Your responsibilities will encompass team leadership, including setting objectives, fostering team members' career advancement, and managing team capacity. You may also be called upon to lead an initiative for the organization directly. You will collaborate closely with other DWS teams to address their service needs (reviewing priorities, capacity, planning, and monitoring execution).

  • Spearhead the strategic planning and execution of various projects and programs delivered by the team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Lead a team of seasoned project and program managers to achieve DWS objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Security, Network, Cloud, Collaboration, and Finance teams.
  • Establish and implement best practices and standards for project and program management.
  • Work with vendors and service providers to leverage their expertise and resources in support of project and program deliveries.
  • Prioritize projects based on the business value they deliver and the impact on involved resources.
  • Drive program management activities for specific initiatives as needed.
  • Participate in and contribute to the Agile transformation program within our organization.
As a people manager, you will
  • Assist, guide, and motivate team members in their assigned roles.
  • Define and monitor objectives for individuals in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Manage administrative activities and procedures related to the department.
  • Ensure timely and appropriate communication to team members regarding organizational updates.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews and provide input for salary assessments.
  • Monitor the development of team members based on ongoing assessment of needs.
  • Interview and select candidates for the team.
  • Be accountable for the performance and outcomes of the project and program management team within the CIO office or towards other stakeholders.
  • Report on team activities, plans, and risks to senior management.
  • Develop plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.
  • Suggest alternatives, improvements, and new techniques in processes, workflows, operational models, plans, and automation.
  • Make decisions guided by policies, procedures, and business plans.
