Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher in Cardiac Electrophysiology to join our team at the Université de Bordeaux. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cardiac physiology and a proven track record of research experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct optical mapping experiments of the electrical activity of isolated hearts infused with large mammals with or without myocardial infarction.
- Evaluate the consequences of mechanical stimulation on electrophysiology and arrhythmogenesis.
- Perform in vivo electrophysiological measurements in anesthetized animals.
- Monitor the experimental model and organize the experiments in connection with the various stakeholders.
- Incorporate experimental data into in silico models of cardiac electrophysiology.
Requirements
- PhD in Cardiac Physiology or Medical Bioengineering.
- Strong knowledge of electrocardiac physiology.
- Autonomous and team-oriented individual.
- Experience with biopotential and/or fluorescence measurement techniques.
- Strong redactional skills.
