Reporting directly to the VP of Media Strategy, you will have a significant impact within our organization. As a Media Strategy Director, you will be based in our Paris office. This role is an excellent opportunity for a holistic strategist who is equally adept in creative evaluations and orchestrating global paid media initiatives. The Strategy Director will primarily focus on delivering strategic planning and innovative concepts for some of our key paid media clients, serving as a strategic leader for Jellyfish Paris and providing forward-thinking guidance both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
You will champion brand advocacy:
- Formulate insightful paid media and digital communication strategies that reflect a deep understanding of essential brand challenges, apply contemporary marketing theories, and inspire media plans that positively impact the brands we collaborate with.
- Deliver value to clients by comprehending how digital integrates into their broader marketing and sales strategies, as well as the nature of relevant digital journeys and funnels, while effectively establishing communication and engagement with prospects for both client and agency teams.
- Identify opportunities for research and data utilization to inform strategic choices.
- Collaborate with the market intelligence team to design, commission, and analyze both qualitative and quantitative research.
- Leverage brand health tracking, ad/campaign tracking, social listening, and segmentation studies to guide strategy formulation.
You will be the linchpin for our clients' communications:
- Collaborate with media planning and execution teams to provide comprehensive guidance on which paid and earned media channels are most likely to achieve desired brand outcomes.
- Inspire innovative ideas and fresh directions across strategy, media, content, or creative domains, maintaining a keen awareness of category trends, audience dynamics, and emerging developments in digital marketing.
- Recommend suitable brand or campaign performance metrics based on a thorough understanding of available measurement tools.
- Ensure that briefs are motivating, grounded in consumer and category insights, feature a clear and focused measurement approach, and align with strategic objectives.
- You will facilitate communication and engagement with prospects; interact with senior clients to discuss strategy and business or brand objectives, simplifying complex challenges effectively.
- Demonstrate proficiency in developing brand, digital marketing, and planning strategies, with a strong command of digital media planning.
- Client-Centric Approach: You will enjoy building relationships with clients, fostering long-term partnerships, and adding value to their businesses.
- Analytical Skills & Reporting: You will excel at utilizing data and market insights to inform strategic decisions and develop business strategies.
- Creative Problem Solving: You will generate innovative ideas and explore new methods and technologies to address complex challenges.

- You will possess approximately 3-5 years of experience in Media Strategy.
