NXP Semiconductors is expanding its system architecture teams to address industrial systems and solutions. As part of this extension, we are looking for a Technical Director to join the industrial systems solutions architecture team and lead the architectures for the factory automation market.
Key Responsibilities:- Analysis of application/customer use-cases and systems for factory automation
- Defining detailed technical requirements for those solutions and collaborating with the product design teams
- Definition of detailed architectures and new concepts to address this market
- Technical expert to support the design team to implement the defined architectures
- Technical expert to support customers in creating their solutions based on NXP reference solutions
- Responsibility to deliver the intended system solution performance parameters
- Collaboration with the product-level architects to define comprehensive solutions
- More than 10 years experience in building factory automation systems and robotics
- Deep understanding for defining and developing factory automation and/or robotics systems
- Experienced in motor control, industrial communication networks, and functional safety
- Experienced in designing complex HW/SW systems
- Experienced in customer interactions (solution presentation and communication, problem analysis and resolution)
- Experienced in working with global teams
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software or similar studies
