About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Geospatial Analyst to join our team at Veolia, a leading environmental services company. As a Geospatial Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our mission to transform the way we manage water, waste, and energy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Treat and feed our Assainissement SIG databases (ArcGIS Enterprise): process and integrate geospatial data from various sources, including clients and internal operations, and create plan reconciliation.
  • Design, analyze, and update our web-based mapping applications (ArcGIS, ArcOpole).
  • Create thematic maps and visual representations (print, web, intranet, and extranet) to facilitate communication of results to stakeholders and elected officials.
  • Produce deliverables from SIG data (analysis and statistical documents for dynamic dashboards, maps, etc.).
  • Stay up-to-date with cartography and modeling tools, and develop expertise in 3D modeling following our field inspections using drones (input: lidar, photogrammetry, thermography, etc.).
Requirements
  • First-hand experience in the waste management, public works, and/or 3D modeling sectors.
  • Autonomy, versatility, and pragmatism, with a strong sense of internal and external client needs.
  • Proficiency in QGIS, ArcGIS, ArcOpole, and 3D modeling software, as well as photogrammetry and lidar technologies.
