Carbon Footprint Analyst

Egis is dedicated to achieving net-zero emissions and has committed to the SBTi's Corporate Net Zero Standard framework. To support this ambitious goal, we are seeking a talented Carbon Engineer to join our ESG & Climate team.
Reporting directly to the Carbon Manager, you will play a crucial role in validating our decarbonization goals with SBTi and consolidating our roadmap for achieving net-zero emissions.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on developing and refining the Group's Net Zero objectives roadmaps.
- Contribute to establishing an investment plan for decarbonization activities and monitor our progress towards SBTi's net zero targets.
- Support the implementation of Egis' climate commitments across Business Lines (BL) and Regions.
SBTi Validation & Expertise:
- Actively participate in meetings and exchanges related to the validation process with SBTi.
- Stay informed about evolving practices, methodologies, and sectoral frameworks within the SBTi guidelines (e.g., Scope 3 objectives).
- Disseminate best practices and insights from SBTi across Egis' BLs and Regions.
Carbon Footprint Analysis:
- Share Egis' Carbon Footprint methodologies and best practices with contributors from BLs and Regions, ensuring consistency in data collection, evaluation, processing, and validation.
- Provide guidance and support to new members of the Group's ESG & Climate community, fostering a collaborative environment for accurate carbon footprint reporting.
Your Profile:
You are a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills. You possess a deep understanding of Carbon Footprint methodologies and are familiar with GHG Protocol and/or SBTi frameworks. Your proactive approach and commitment to sustainability make you an ideal candidate for this role.
