The Financial Controller will play a key role in the success of our investment funds, working closely with the Finance Manager and other stakeholders to optimize the performance of our assets. The role will involve managing the financial aspects of our real estate investments, including the structuring of investment vehicles, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the setup of acquisition structures, working with external advisors and the Corporate Finance team to analyze financial and legal aspects, and create investment vehicles.
- Contribute to the monitoring of cash flows and their integration into the fund's cash flow model.
- Coordinate the obtaining of necessary agreements during transaction realization, working with external advisors and the Transactions team.
- Ensure the structuring of the fund's financial and legal aspects, working with the Finance Manager and Corporate Finance team.
- Manage the fund's liquidity, working with the Finance Manager and Corporate Finance team.
- Monitor the fund's performance, analyzing variance and scenario analysis, and working with the accounting teams (NAV, financial statements).
- Provide financial models, plans, and budgets, as well as internal and external reports, performance measures, and risk control to clients and stakeholders.
- Coordinate the selection of service providers for the fund and its subsidiaries (custodian, accountants, auditors, real estate experts).
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of external service provider productions within the agreed deadlines.
- Degree in Finance and/or Real Estate.
- Experience in accounting, preferably in a role related to operational/financial reporting, with exposure to real estate.
- Experience in audit, financial control, or Middle Office.
- Desirable experience in real estate, asset management, and/or project management.
- Excellent knowledge of financial software (notably Excel at an advanced level).
- Excellent communication skills (team spirit, flexibility), reliability.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
- Good analytical skills.
