About the Role
We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as an Aerospace Acoustics Engineer. In this role, you will be working on the optimization of eVTOL (electric vertical takeoff and landing) aircraft, focusing on the aerodynamic and acoustic performance of their rotors.
Your Mission
As an Aerospace Acoustics Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and improving our in-house code for optimizing the design of eVTOL systems. Your tasks will include:
- Improving your understanding of low-fidelity aerodynamic modeling of helicopter rotors
- Improving your understanding of analytical modeling of tonal and broadband noise of cowl-ed rotors using our internal code
- Developing skills in CFD and/or acoustic simulation to validate the models used
- Developing skills in research and scientific writing
Your Profile
We are looking for a highly motivated and autonomous individual with a strong background in engineering. You should have a good understanding of aerodynamics and acoustics, as well as experience with simulation tools and programming languages. A strong command of English (B2 level minimum) is required. This role is open to individuals with disabilities.
