About the Role
L'Oréal is a leading global cosmetics company seeking a skilled Global Sourcing Expert to join our Travel Retail team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing direct and indirect sourcing for Travel Retail Exclusives (TREX) and overseeing indirect sourcing worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business needs and manage demand to ensure optimal supply chain performance.
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to improve cost models and increase spend covered by sourcing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to drive performance and efficiency.
- Assess and manage risks associated with sourcing, including social compliance, anti-corruption, and cybersecurity.
- Lead a network of stakeholders to provide information, share best practices, and communicate supplier information.
- Drive continuous improvement of financial and non-financial KPIs and contribute to the company's responsible sourcing policy.
- Support the digitalization of purchasing and make purchasing a pillar of the organization.
Requirements
- Proven experience in direct sourcing, packaging, and contract manufacturing for TREX activity.
- Ability to listen, innovate, and support change.
- Strong appetite for financial issues and mastery of negotiation techniques.
- Good knowledge of Pack office tool and IS sensitivity.
- Good knowledge of MySourcing tool and MyMarket for Indirect Sourcing.
- Management of priorities and complexity.
- Ability to work in a team, communicate effectively, and unite stakeholders.
- Fluent level of English.
