SAKATA Vegetables Europe S.A.S. is dedicated to overseeing governance, establishing global services, and managing key projects for our operations in the vegetable and ornamental seed sectors across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). Our commitment to quality, reliability, and service drives us to foster trust-based relationships with our clients.
As a vital member of the EMEA IT Team, you will collaborate with a diverse group of 10 professionals specializing in Support Management, Security & Infrastructure, and Application/Solution Management. In this role, you will report to the solution management team as a project manager.
Key Responsibilities
Under the guidance of the EMEA IT Program Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Planning, supporting, and executing IT projects, including mobile applications, ERP adaptations, and BI initiatives.
- Collaborating to provide support for existing business solutions.
- Defining project specifications, timelines, and deliverables in coordination with operational stakeholders, the IT team, and various partners.
- Facilitating communication among stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Ensuring effective operations and maintaining positive relationships within the project team.
- Assisting key users with their IT solution evolution requests, including follow-up and testing.
- Providing backup support for other Business Project Leaders.
- Delivering level 2 IT solution support to the EMEA IT Service Desk.
- Traveling regularly across the EMEA region and occasionally to other SAKATA locations.
Candidate Profile
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A proven track record in leading complex and innovative projects.
- Expertise in business process reengineering to identify and implement enhancements in existing processes and systems.
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT project manager, ideally in a consulting or service-oriented setting.
- Demonstrated success in managing and delivering large-scale IT projects.
- Strong knowledge and experience in business process reengineering, including mapping, analysis, design, and optimization.
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, with Agile and Prince 2 being advantageous.
- Familiarity with ERP Business Central and Microsoft Power Platform is a plus.
