Production Internship at Fives ECL

Fives ECL is seeking a motivated and talented individual for a 4 to 6 month internship within our Operations department, specifically in the MECANO-SOUDURE service. This team of 15 professionals is dedicated to delivering excellence in mechanical welding operations.

This internship offers a unique opportunity for production or generalist engineering students to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic industrial setting. You will collaborate with our skilled production teams, contributing to projects that showcase the breadth of their expertise.

Your Responsibilities:

• Optimize the implementation of detailed planning within MECANO-SOUDURE.
• Maintain and update detailed schedules using MS PROJECT.
• Provide training to future users on scheduling procedures.
• Manage administrative tasks related to Work Orders, including closing operations and component consumption tracking.
• Develop operational procedures to document and standardize planning methodologies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the service, focusing on operating procedures and defect management.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of daily, weekly, and monthly management tools.

You will receive guidance and mentorship from the Production Manager throughout your internship.

We are seeking a candidate pursuing a generalist engineering degree with a specialization in production management and a genuine interest in the manufacturing industry. Prior experience in an industrial and production environment is highly desirable.
