About the position
The Paris Engineering Division is looking for a Project Information Management Lead to strengthen its Information Management team.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Project Information Management function by working with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, implementing data management on large-scale projects all over the world.
The Project Information Management Lead will manage all activities and deliverables related to project technical data structuration and management:
- Definition of rules for data structuration
- Set up of the Engineering data warehouse and support of the project and engineering disciplines when structuring their data
- Collection, quality check, consolidation, and handover of these data to Construction team and Client
The Project Information Management Lead reports to the Project Engineering Manager and manages a team of Methods and Data Engineers and Data Coordinators.
Accountabilities:
- Be the single point of contact on all topics related to Information Management on the Project and interact with Project, Partners, and Client
- Develop and maintain the Project Information Management strategy and the Information Management plan, according to Technip Energies standards and Construction and Client requirements (data structuration, data workflows, data collection, control, consolidation, and handover...)
- Clarify with Client the equipment and material identification and numbering procedure and the requirement in terms of data handover
- Prepare and issue deliverables related to data management (Information Management Plan, Data Control Procedure, Suppliers Data Requirements Specification...)
- Participate to the setup of the Engineering Data Warehouse with Methods and Tools team and support the engineering disciplines in using the various modules
- Create and maintain a Master Tag Register listing the various components of the project and their related attributes: identify source of tags and set up work processes for data collection and control, with the related KPIs (conformity, consistency, completeness)
- Ensure that Information Management requirements are included in the requisitions issued to Suppliers during inquiries
- Ensure that these requirements are understood and met, in coordination with Requisition Leads
- Work in coordination with engineering disciplines to ensure data validation before consolidation in the Engineering data warehouse
- Extract from the Engineering Data Warehouse the various deliverables, including Partners and Suppliers data, to perform data handover to Construction and to Client
- Issue regular reporting to Project management and Client
About you:
- Master's Degree preferred, with 5+ years of experience
- Able to demonstrate recent and applicable experience in similar role
- Experience and knowledge of Engineering work processes, preferably in Oil & Gas
- Knowledge of data management processes and systems
- Fluency in both written and spoken English
- Proficient in Excel – Power BI would be a plus
- Experience with databases (Access, Aveva Engineering or others)

- Position based in Paris, France
- Remote work (up to 10 days per month)
- Occasional business trips
