Senior Engineering Planner Aeroderivatives Specialist

The Senior Engineering Planner Aeroderivatives is a key role within the GE Energy Products France SNC organization, responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining schedules and plans for Aeroderivative Engineering projects. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams to optimize project timelines and identify potential issues.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain schedules and plans for Aeroderivative Engineering projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Partner with Global TLs in Engineering Planning to standardize and harmonize the process for Aeroderivative Engineering Planning on Projects and Standards.
- Manage Planning Optimization throughout the project lifecycle, including Baseline/Rebaseline management.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize project timelines, identify potential issues, and propose solutions to keep projects on track.
- Collaborate in the development and preparation of project planning, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Track project progress, using effective monitoring systems to ensure adherence to schedules and milestones.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and analyses on project advancements, highlighting achievements, obstacles, and potential solutions.
- Manage the project float and risk (delay) management.
- Coach engineering planners in the transition to engineering planning discipline to ensure the planning needs of the Projects organization that use and interact with the schedule plan are met.
- Timely and effective conflict resolution when technical scheduling decisions are involved in project planning.
- Rollback of Project Planning Lessons Learned to Engineering Planning Templates and develop action plans to anticipate risks and respond to complex or high-impact problems in the Engineering Planning function.
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science; or equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Significant experience in an Equipment or Engineering Planning capacity.

The base pay range for this position is $111,200.00 - $185,400.00 USD Annual. This position is also eligible for a 15% performance bonus.
This position will stay open on the career website until at least 10/7/2024.
