Sustainability Regulatory Expert

Airbus is seeking a Sustainability Regulatory Intelligence Analyst to join our team in Toulouse, France.
This role is part of our Sustainability Regulatory Intelligence and Services team, which is responsible for ensuring timely identification of relevant sustainability-related requirements for the company, monitoring and contributing to enhancing Airbus' sustainability performance and objectives, and supporting compliance.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and identify existing and evolving policies, laws, regulations, standards, external requirements and trends in the areas of climate change, energies and fuels, new technologies, the transition to a low carbon economy, biodiversity, air pollution, ozone protection, noise and other related areas, applicable to future and current Airbus' products, services, value chain and their ecosystem worldwide.
- Contribute to clarifying, advising, guiding and assisting Airbus decision-making bodies, management, functions and specific project teams.
- Support the research and drafting of regulatory dossiers, briefings, notes, memorandums, internal documentation, transcription of requirements for Airbus decision-making bodies, management, functions and specific projects teams.
- Identify relevant regulatory topics to be addressed in sectorial and/or professional forums and support the teams representing Airbus in such forums.
Your Requirements:
- At least 5 years of professional experience.
- Master's degree (or equivalent) in engineering, environmental sciences, economics, sustainability, law with specialisation on environment, climate, energy and/or related areas.
- Experience in undertaking research and conducting analysis on climate policy, energy, biodiversity, air pollution and noise.
- Knowledge and understanding of the on-going context of policies and regulations related to the matters managed by the Climate stream.
- Knowledge of energy markets, new fuels and technologies considered an asset.
