A bit about the team and what you'll deliver...

The Embedded System Security Engineer will be part of project teams that address advanced technology topics, focusing on security services architecture, implementation, and integration into our Client's SoC platforms.

As an Embedded System Security Engineer, you will:

  • Do Embedded / System software development, debug, and tests (Native and low-level C Code development, System libraries, Kernel drivers, Firmware development)
  • Develop and Integrate Trustonic Security Products (TEE, KeyStore like, HSM, TLS extensions) with primary focus on our TEE Operating System (System lib, kernel features) and its integration into different RichOS (Android, Linux, QnX)
  • Do some platform integration to enable our Security solutions into customer's BSP and SoC platforms
  • Be involved in internal and/or external System architecture discussions

Experience

Ideally a few years of experience in embedded software development

Experience required in Embedded System development:

  • Familiar with Linux development / kernel drivers / Micro-controller firmwares
  • Knowledge in Embedded Software debugging (RAM dumps, traces capture and analysis, Lauterbach tool)
  • Knowledge in standard Security Solutions
  • Good understanding of Cryptographic mechanisms (signature, encryption, authentication, digests, macs...)
  • Knowledge in scripts based automated tests suites
  • Wider knowledge in embedded software and security ecosystem, Linux Kernel, Android BSP, Drivers, DRMs, Firmware, are definitely also advantages

Languages

Fluent English, both written and spoken

Technical skills

Strong C / C++ knowledge

System development (recompile kernel, flash boards, debug images and system debug)

Knowledge in system security solutions (TEE, HSM, SE, TLS, OpenSSL...)

Technically extremely autonomous (able to autonomously learn and discover code in big external sources base)

Embedded Platform manipulation (Android or Linux BSP, Micro-controllers)

Experience with Linux build systems (Yocto, BuildRoot…)

Experience with low level system development (kernel Drivers, firmware, RTOS)

Experience in DRMs

Python

Qualifications
  • A degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience
