ABOUT EPSYLAN

EPSYLAN is a public mental health institution committed to providing comprehensive care for individuals facing mental health challenges in the northern region of Loire-Atlantique. Our passionate team strives to deliver optimal treatment for every patient. Our offerings encompass two sectors of adult psychiatry, a sector dedicated to child psychiatry, intersectoral units, and a therapeutic family reception service for adults.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Department has received funding for five innovative projects. Our medical team, consisting of nine pediatric psychiatrists, is currently in search of a substitute pediatric psychiatrist or psychiatrist to support these units.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Conducting assessments and treatment of patients
  • Collaborating to create individualized patient care plans
  • Leading clinical team discussions
  • Developing and executing the medical project for the unit

Collaboration with Healthcare Professionals:

  • Coordinating patient care pathways
  • Fostering a partnership between the patient, family, and care team
  • Referring patients to therapeutic or rehabilitative services

Educational Responsibilities:

  • Assisting staff in comprehending clinical terminology
  • Promoting ongoing professional development
  • Supervising and mentoring interns

Networking Initiatives:

  • Participating in networking meetings with healthcare collaborators

Institutional Contributions:

  • Engaging in institutional projects
  • Collaborating on the medical project aligned with the institution's objectives
  • Potential involvement in the Mental Health Territorial Project

EXPECTED COMMITMENTS:

  • Contributing to the department's activity report
  • Participating in service continuity efforts
  • Assuming unit responsibility and oversight
  • Attending institutional meetings
  • Participating in pediatric psychiatry on-call responsibilities
