We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Mechanical Static Equipment Engineer to join our team at SPIE Global Services Energy.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of Mechanical Marine Static Engineers and assisting the Head of Mechanical with the updating of maintenance plans, procedures drafting, drawings issuance, studies performance, spare parts identification reviews, tools reviews, documentation filing, and data capture in computerized systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the AKPO and EGINA Mechanical Marine Static Engineers
- Assist Head of Mechanical with maintenance plans, procedures, and documentation
- Support FPSOs operational teams with drafting working procedures, maintenance programmes, and logistic support
- Perform technical studies to improve performance or upgrade facilities
- Follow-up technical problems, files, and warranty claims
- Perform equipment performance analysis and develop condition monitoring programmes
- Coordinate repairs, spare parts, and consumables
- Attend materials repairs or inspection in ONNE/LADOL base or Contractors facilities
- Coordinate activities with MTMC method and planning engineers
- Follow-up UNISUP registration of works, materials, and services
- Report anomalies and initiate action to prevent shortage
- Engineering University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Knowledge in Marine, Hydraulic, Lifting equipment, and Mechanical Static Equipment
- 5 years as Chief Engineer on board vessel or Mechanical Engineer in operational functions in Oil & Gas Industry
- Experience in Africa Sub Saharan is a plus
