Key Responsibilities- Develop new optical and photonics products and provide technical support in this field.
- Participate in R&D projects and internal training sessions.
- Design and implement optical and photonics sub-assemblies, including:
- Choosing optical and fiber components from catalogs or sourcing.
- Participating in project phases: technical expertise, specification writing, and report writing.
- Participating in new project setup.
- Setting up specific measurement instruments and dedicated test benches for optics and photonics.
- Depositing patents.
- Choosing optoelectronic components from catalogs or sourcing.
- Participating in technological watch in the optics and photonics field.
- Potentially taking on project leader roles.
- Master's degree in optics and photonics or a related field.
- Similar experience in an industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge in:
- Optical components: lenses, mirrors, filters.
- Fiber optics, filters, multiplexers, AWG, waveguides.
- Optoelectronic components: transceivers, lasers, photodiodes, switches.
- Methods and techniques for fabricating optical and photonics components.
- Testing and measurement.
- Mastery of optical metrology elements: luxmeter, photodiode, integrating sphere, power meter, optical spectrum analysis.
- Conception and modeling: advanced use of modeling methods such as RCWA and FDTD, basic use of ray tracing with Inkscape, and rudimentary use of OpticSim (under Julia).
- Fabrication: experience in a cleanroom with various microelectronic fabrication techniques: classical lithography, laser lithography, projection lithography, nanolithography.
- Characterization: setting up optical benches for component characterization, including design and automation of measurements.
Located near the center of Toulouse, with easy access to public transportation and parking available.
Full-time position with a forfait jours schedule and RTT attribution.
