Quality Assurance Specialist for Suppliers

Alstom is seeking a highly skilled Supplier Product Quality Assurance Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Deploy Supplier Quality Assurance requirements in product and process development and warranty in accordance with Sourcing and project organization.
- Plan and manage the Supplier Quality Assurance process from tender phase to First Article Inspection (FAI) Go.
- Communicate and validate quality specifications and Supplier Quality Assurance plans with suppliers.
- Manage the Supplier Quality Assurance phase from tender phase to Business Award in coordination with Sourcing, validate relevant waivers, and perform Supplier Quality Assurance plans by setting up relevant actions plans.
- Apply the Design for Quality (DFQ) process and validate each milestone.
- Hand over to SQA and manage warranty issues linked to suppliers in collaboration with Project Warranty Responsible.
- Inform SPQD Manager, Sourcing, and Industrial and Engineering/Projects entities about main issues and increase Return on Expectations (ROE).
- Report on activity and manage indicators, such as visual management.
- Participate in the management of yellow suppliers status.
- Ensure required qualifications to have the right level of expertise.
- Propose good practices.
- Contribute to the APSYS roadmap's SPQD-related questions.
- Master's degree level or equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in SQA, SPQD, Production Management, Engineering, or Industrial.
- Fluent in English.
- Understanding of technical interdependencies.
- Knowledge of quality tools, such as problem-solving tools and Quality Walls.
- People management and leadership.
- Strong communication skills.
