Bordeaux Métropole is seeking a highly skilled professional to join its team as a Project Manager for Tourism and Itinerant Development. As a key member of the tourism department, you will play a crucial role in implementing the city's tourism strategy and developing innovative projects to promote sustainable tourism.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement tourism projects, including the creation of pedestrian and cycling routes, signage, and information systems.
- Collaborate with project leaders to achieve their objectives and ensure the success of tourism initiatives.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to promote tourism in the region.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote tourism in Bordeaux Métropole.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, tourism operators, and other stakeholders to promote tourism and support the local economy.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of tourism initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
- Master's degree in tourism, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in tourism development, project management, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
