Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Surface Treatment Specialist to join our Technical Department. In this role, you will play a vital part in developing and implementing repair processes for aircraft components, focusing on wet surface treatments and electroplating. Your expertise will contribute directly to meeting the evolving demands of the aviation industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Research & Development: Conduct research to identify environmentally friendly surface treatment processes that comply with all relevant regulations. Explore emerging technologies and optimize existing techniques to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Industrialization: Analyze technical specifications, design and execute test campaigns, and refine process parameters to ensure optimal results in a production environment.
- Technical Support: Provide expert guidance and support to production teams, ensuring the proper operation of equipment and processes. Conduct training sessions and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
Qualifications & Skills
To excel in this position, you will possess a strong technical background in Materials Science and Engineering with a focus on surface treatments. A deep understanding of electrochemistry and surface characterization techniques is highly desirable. We seek a detail-oriented individual with a passion for innovation and a proven ability to work effectively within a team environment.
