Pâtisserie Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Pâtisserie Assistant to join our team at La Nauve, Hôtel & Jardin. As a Pâtisserie Assistant, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting a variety of sweet and savory pastries, desserts, and other baked goods for our restaurant and buffet services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation, production, and presentation of pastries, desserts, and other baked goods.
• Ensure high-quality standards are met in all aspects of pastry production, including presentation, taste, and texture.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Assist in the management of inventory, including ordering and stocking of ingredients and supplies.
• Collaborate with the pastry chef to develop new recipes and menus.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for our guests.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• CAP or BEP in management and hospitality or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in a similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
