About the Role:

The Director General will be responsible for leading the company's strategic direction, driving business growth, and ensuring the company's financial stability. Key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing business strategies to achieve company goals and objectives
• Leading and managing a team of senior executives and department heads
• Overseeing the company's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and partners
• Representing the company at industry events and conferences
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

• A strong background in the wine and spirits industry, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior leadership position
• Proven track record of driving business growth and improving financial performance
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business issues and develop effective solutions
