We are seeking a dedicated Senior Pipeline Analysis Lead to become a vital part of our team at Subsea 7.
As a leader in the field of pipeline analysis, you will be recognized for your technical expertise and managerial capabilities. You will oversee a specialized team focused on installation analysis for rigid pipelines, contributing to various projects, including FEED and tender phases.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of installation analysis engineers to ensure the effective execution of analysis tasks across all Pipeline Group projects.
- Independently conduct installation analysis for rigid pipelines utilizing S-lay, J-lay, and/or Reel-lay methods.
- Provide direct engineering support and guidance to project engineers on critical technical issues.
- Manage external relationships with clients and subcontractors, as well as internal collaborations with departments such as Supply Chain Management.
- Ensure that the engineering services delivered meet the company's standards while maintaining a strong focus on the commercial viability of solutions.
- Offer engineering assistance during operational phases, which may occasionally require offshore or yard presence.
- Actively engage in the training and development of engineering personnel.
Desired Qualifications:
We encourage applications from candidates who may not meet every single requirement but possess relevant skills and experience.
- Proven experience in leading engineering teams is essential.
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience is preferred, ideally within the Oil & Gas sector, though other backgrounds will be considered.
- Proficiency in Orcaflex is required, and familiarity with programming languages such as Python, VBA, and Abaqus is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills are necessary, enabling effective interaction with all organizational levels, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Exceptional report writing skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet management deadlines.
- Willingness to travel internationally on occasion is expected.
