Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled TIG welder to join our team. As a TIG welder, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret assembly drawings and technical documents to prepare for welding operations
- Prepare fabrication equipment and parts to be welded, setting up welding units as needed
- Produce welds according to established procedures and industry standards
- Inspect and clean welds, ensuring high-quality results
- Identify and mark parts according to drawings and bill of materials, and complete welding follow-up documents
- Perform visual inspections of welds and conduct simple checks using provided tools
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A level 3 or 4 diploma in welding or equivalent
- Initial professional experience in welding
- Familiarity with reading welding plans and specifications, as well as TIG and semi-automatic welding processes
