Job Title: Instrument Specialist

SPIE Oil & Gas Services is seeking an experienced Instrument Specialist to join our team in Angola. As an Instrument Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper planning, scheduling, and execution of heavy-level maintenance operations on oil and gas production installations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute maintenance operations on Instrumentation and Control Systems
  • Analyze indicators to improve maintenance in the area of HSE, availability, and equipment preservation
  • Ensure that preventive maintenance operations are executed as planned
  • Organize and coordinate maintenance operations on site
  • Assist the planning team in preparing jobs in the discipline
  • Liaise with third parties for troubleshooting, repair, and refurbishment activities
  • Ensure feedback from site after vendor intervention and propose improvements
  • Respect company HSE regulations and approved operating procedures
  • Manage interventions using the CMMS and write technical reports
  • Monitor the functioning of utilities and equipment
  • Ensure the transfer of knowledge by mentoring and actively participate in this process
  • Carry out interventions within the field of competence
  • Take charge of systems under responsibility in case of breakdown
Requirements:
  • Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC or BTS/DUT or equivalent)
  • Proven experience on Instrumentation and Control Systems equipment
  • Calibration of Gauges, Calibration of Pressure Safety Valve (PSV)
  • 10 years' experience minimum in the maintenance field on oil and gas production installations
  • Good knowledge of Instrumentation and Control Systems
  • SAP/R3 experience and know-how
  • Physical ability to work on offshore installations in the climatic conditions of the site
  • Working language: English Bright 3.5 (or equivalent)
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of French and Portuguese language recommended
  • Leadership, reliability, and work confidentiality
