Project Scheduler - Fincantieri

Key Responsibilities

In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Assist the Project Manager in validating the Target Program, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations and compatibility with the requirements of various departments;
  • Develop and maintain the Master Plan, serving as a comprehensive reference document for all departments based on initial order documentation and production progress;
  • Collaborate with the Lead Project Engineer and Purchasing Coordinator to oversee Engineering Plans and the supply schedule;
  • Track program advancements using yard documentation, producing progress reports and integrated production schedules while highlighting any deviations to the Project Manager;
  • Conduct programmatic simulations to assess critical issues and the feasibility of strategic decisions;
  • Work closely with various departments to create detailed schedules and ensure integration across critical paths.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Managerial or Naval Engineering;
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of French or Italian is advantageous;
  • Strong skills in Excel and familiarity with SAP; experience with Oracle Primavera and MS Project is preferred;
  • Personal attributes such as adaptability, excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork capabilities, problem-solving acumen, and a focus on results are essential. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally is also required.
