Position Overview:
We are looking for an International Operations Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing and managing the execution of customer transport orders from the initial shipper to the end recipient.
- Identifying and engaging service providers within the transport network.
- Negotiating subcontracting rates with service providers.
- Ensuring the preservation of profit margins between purchasing and selling prices.
- Conducting freight and transport searches for carriers and subcontractors.
- Preparing and verifying transport contract documents and ensuring their distribution to relevant parties.
- Preparing and validating invoicing details related to transport services.
- Monitoring service provision in accordance with contractual stipulations, ensuring client requirements are communicated effectively.
- Addressing any issues that arise within the transport chain.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations (ADR, transport code, labor code, etc.).
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will possess a background in transport (e.g., Bac Pro Transport, BTS Transport) and relevant experience in a similar role.
You should have a solid understanding of the France/Europe transport landscape and be well-versed in freight transport regulations, margin concepts, and subcontracting practices.
Strong communication skills and organizational abilities, particularly in relation to transport constraints and merchandise characteristics, are essential, along with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
Fluency in English and proficiency in an additional foreign language are required.
