Mission OverviewWithin the Environmental Service Line and its Environmental and Ecological Engineering department , reporting to the site manager, as a Senior Environmental Project Manager, you will lead various tasks related to infrastructure projects and land development (including rail and urban transport infrastructures, roads, ports, airports, urban developments, civil engineering works, renewable energy installations, etc.).
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing complex multidisciplinary projects in the field of Environment and Biodiversity (ranging from several hundred thousand euros to 5 million euros): overseeing production teams, monitoring subcontracting, and ensuring quality control.
- Leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Administering and financially managing contracts : overseeing invoicing, monitoring profitability, and managing amendments.
- Steering client relationships.
- Participating in public consultation meetings.
- Leading and/or contributing to the production of environmental studies related to project engineering with a strong focus on biodiversity, eco-design, regulatory or multidisciplinary specific files.
- Driving the eco-design and ecological design approach within project management teams during the pre-project phase, project phase, detailed design, environmental monitoring of works, environmental assistance, biodiversity, and sustainable development (LCA, HQE development, building).
- Managing interfaces with other departments within Egis.
You hold a master's degree (bac +5) specialized in Environment and/or Ecology and have at least 10 years of experience in project management within the Environment/Ecology sector, particularly in infrastructure projects (such as rail/urban transport, ports, airports, roads, urban developments, renewable energy installations, etc.).
You are well-versed in environmental regulatory procedures and demonstrate a strong inclination towards eco-design.
You possess managerial skills, enabling you to lead a multidisciplinary project team and contribute to their overall skill enhancement in both technical/regulatory aspects and project management.
You adhere to deadlines and ensure the reliability of studies, particularly in a multi-project context.
