Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Preparation Specialist to join our team at LACROIX Group. As a key member of our Expédition service, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient preparation of orders, from picking and packaging to loading, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the preparation of orders, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Identify and adhere to client-specific requirements, as outlined in production procedures or delivery instructions.
  • Update the SAP system throughout the order preparation process.
  • Pick and retrieve products for internal and external orders from our warehouses.
  • Assemble order components and group products into manageable units.
  • Store products in designated storage areas.
  • Condition and package orders using cartons and shrink wrap.
  • Load products into trucks at the loading dock.
  • Prepare and edit associated documentation for shipments.
  • Organize and maintain order units and storage areas.
  • Report any anomalies, such as damaged packaging or missing items.
Requirements

This role requires theoretical and practical knowledge of the profession. Holding a R485 category 2 certification is an asset.

General Knowledge and Skills
  • Familiarity with and adherence to safety, quality, and environmental regulations in the workshop and specific to the job.
  • Knowledge of the organization of physical flows in the workshop.
  • Ability to read and understand order preparation instructions.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in using necessary computer tools, including SAP.
  • Ability to use a mobile terminal (PDA).
Additional Information
  • Meal voucher (daytime schedule) / Meal allowance and team bonus in 2*8.
  • Hours of work: 7:30am to 3:30pm (during training) and then 2*8.
  • Thirteenth month.
