Role Overview

At Dark, we're pioneering spacecraft and mission designs for the protection of vital orbits and assets. As a CAD Designer, you'll play a crucial role in creating detailed 3D designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project goals and provide design solutions
  • Prepare engineering design drawings in CATIA
  • Make necessary revisions and modifications to 3D models according to feedback from engineers and communicate design changes to interfacing departments
  • Perform accurate estimations of design cost, reliability, and production timeline
  • Ensure all designs meet industry standards and regulations
Requirements
  • 5 years of proven working experience in projects involving design of complex structures
  • Working experience with product lifecycle management (PLM), finite element analysis (FEA), computer-aided design (CATIA)
  • Ability to work independently and take direction from internal engineers to create, update, and document mechanical designs with little to no direct supervision
  • Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner

Total salary package begins at €40,000, along with additional performance-based and project-related bonuses.
