Job Description

Dailymotion Exchange is seeking a highly skilled Analytics Engineer to join our Data Engineering Teams. As an Analytics Engineer, you will play a critical role in creating and maintaining data products that drive business decisions across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Ingest and process large volumes of raw data from internal and external sources using batch and streaming methods.
  • Design and implement efficient data models in BigQuery to address business use cases.
  • Develop complex SQL queries to transform data within our data lake into reliable business entities and reporting aggregates.
  • Investigate discrepancies and quality issues in the data, and address performance issues.
  • Ensure data cleanliness, consistency, and availability by performing data quality checks and implementing monitoring.
  • Catalog and document various aspects of the data, including business entities, datamarts, dimensions, metrics, and business rules.
  • Provide training to users on SQL and analytics best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and propose new tools, processes, and documentation.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Data Analytics.
  • Fluent in English (pro level) and French.
  • Strong team player with a proactive approach to continuous technical exploration.
  • Ability to draft technical specifications and make informed decisions based on business opportunities.
  • Hands-on experience in building and managing analytics pipelines, including batch and streaming data pipelines.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Golang, and Java, with a focus on delivering reusable and high-quality code.
  • Experience with different types of databases and strong SQL knowledge.
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • Experience in automating deployments using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Datadog.
  • Proficiency in monitoring systems and tools for ensuring the health and performance of data pipelines.
