Industrial Finisher-Machinist

Job Summary

Safran Aircraft Engines is seeking a skilled Industrial Finisher-Machinist to join our team in the Parachèvement department. As an Industrial Finisher-Machinist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of the finishing process in the hot loop of the Forge Unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and handle parts at various stations in the finishing sector, following instructions and production programs.
• Prepare and handle tools (clamps and balancers) and consumable products (enameled pots, steel ball sacks, wheels, etc.) necessary for your mission.
• Operate self-propelled carts to transport and evacuate parts between workstations, storage zones, and necessary areas for efficient workflow management.
• Perform pre-forging finishing operations (grinding, deburring, welding, enameling, shot blasting, etc.).
• Contribute to the safety and performance of workstations in the Parachèvement department.
• Ensure the quality and traceability of your activities.
• Participate actively in the progress of the workshop.

Requirements

• Experience in an industrial environment with knowledge of mechanics or finishing (grinding, welding, shot blasting, enameling, etc.) is desired.
• Availability and reactivity.
• Autonomy/Rigor.
• Ability to communicate and work in a team.
• Sense of responsibility and respect for safety guidelines.
• Bac, Bac Pro, or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in the industrial sector.

Working Conditions

• 2x8 schedule with occasional night shifts (6:30 am - 1:30 pm / 1:30 pm - 8:30 pm).
• Desirable: carist and pontier élingueur permit.
