Forest Products Teacher

Job Summary

The EPLEFPA Haute-Correze / Site de Neuvic is seeking a qualified Forest Products Teacher to join our team. As a Forest Products Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to our students in the field of forestry and wood products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement curricula for forestry and wood products courses, aligning with national education standards (BTSA Gestion forestière et Produits de la filière bois).
• Teach techniques in forestry, sylviculture, forest work, and wood products.
• Provide guidance and support to students in their academic journey.
• Participate in practical workshops and projects.
• Evaluate student progress and participate in exams.

Requirements

We are looking for an individual with experience and qualifications in forestry and wood products management. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

• Ability to design and deliver engaging educational content.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Proficiency in creating and using pedagogical tools.
• Additional skills in wood products will be highly valued.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time contract position with 18 hours of teaching per week. Salary will be based on the public sector pay scale. The successful candidate will start on September 1, 2024.
