SAP SCM Specialist

As a SAP SCM Specialist at Perenco, you will play a key role in defining and implementing solutions for our group-level domains, including MM, LE, PS, PM, and SD. This involves collaborating with our internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and configuring SAP to meet their needs. You will also be responsible for providing ongoing support to ensure the smooth operation of our systems.
Key responsibilities include system configuration and customization, ensuring seamless integration between SAP modules, and providing end-user support. You will also conduct user training sessions and develop documentation to promote efficient utilization of SAP MM functionalities. Additionally, you will work closely with our procurement teams to design efficient procurement processes within SAP MM.
To succeed in this role, you will need a strong understanding of SAP MM module functionalities, configuration, and best practices. You will also require excellent communication skills, problem-solving aptitude, and the ability to work effectively under pressure to meet project deadlines. Proficiency in SAP ERP system navigation, data analysis, and report generation is essential.
Please note that geographical mobility is a pre-requisite for this role, as you will be required to travel to our subsidiaries in WAF, LatAm, and EU. You will also need to maintain strong autonomy and work independently with minimal supervision.
Skills and qualifications required for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Purchasing, industrial maintenance, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience (5 years) working as an SAP MM Consultant or Specialist is also essential. In-depth knowledge of SAP MM module functionalities, configuration, and best practices, as well as strong understanding of procurement processes, inventory management principles, and material planning techniques, are also required.
Language proficiency in French and English is a must, with Spanish being a plus. SAP MM certification is preferred, and experience with SAP S/4HANA is also a plus. Knowledge of other SAP modules, such as SD, PM, and PS, is also desirable.
