Key Responsibilities:
- Define strategic products in MP plants to drive business growth and profitability.
- Contribute to the definition of alternative and backup solutions to ensure business continuity in case of disruptions.
- Contribute to plant PnL by internalizing lenses in our MP plants instead of out-of-group sourcing.
Business Continuity Planning Management:
- Based on mid-term plans, assurance recommendations, and local risks identified, define strategic products for the group in terms of product and plant, and develop action plans to mitigate risks.
- Contribute to and participate in CRMC meetings (Critical Raw Material & Consumables) to assess and mitigate risks.
- Coordinate working groups (GLI, Sourcing, EHS, Procurement) to assess risks and identify critical ones for manufacturing in Rx labs and MP plants.
- Evaluate the impact on the business of critical RMC and propose solutions to ensure business continuity.
Develop Make or Buy Actions:
- Analyze out-of-group purchases to identify potential actions for insourcing.
- Follow up on insourcing actions with regional leaders.
- Coordinate insourcing or product development with Group entities.
- Develop make-or-buy actions to accelerate insourcing efforts.
Candidate Profile:
- Engineer in industrial engineering or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in functional management in an international environment.
- Extensive knowledge of Essilor Group's products and services portfolio.
- Highly motivated and positive attitude, energy, and leadership.
- Comfortable in a highly international and multicultural work environment, with a strong network and ability to influence others.
- Strong leadership skills, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent background in Excel, with expert-level skills.
- Fluent English.
