Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: U.S. Corporate Office, Blaine, WA

Cole International USA Inc. is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our accounting and finance team. This position will report to the U.S. Accounting Manager.

Job Description & Responsibilities

  • Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
  • Code and post accounts payable invoices
  • Track job accruals within various systems
  • Perform vendor reconciliations
  • Prepare and post vendor payments by wire, cheque, EFT, online banking, and credit card
  • Respond to vendor inquiries
  • Research and resolve accounts payable issues
  • Work with clients to reconcile AR issues and outstanding balances
  • Process credit applications
  • Run and process various accounting reports
  • Perform credit approval request on live shipments

Requirements & Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in either account payable or receivables preferred but not required
  • 1+ years of work experience in the logistics/customs industry would be an asset
