About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Butcher to lead our traditional butcher and self-service meat department at Grand Frais stores. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving store growth, improving sales, and optimizing our profit center.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of butchers and sales staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality products.
- Monitor product freshness and presentation, ensuring an attractive and diverse meat department that meets health regulations.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, build customer loyalty, and drive revenue growth.
- Manage staff under your authority, including labor laws, employee management, and performance feedback.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a commercial butchery environment.
- Strong knowledge of cutting techniques, meat handling, and hygiene practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
- Proficient in computer skills, with experience in managing sales data and inventory.
