Training Assistant Role
We are seeking a dynamic individual to assist in the coordination of training initiatives within our organization. The Training Assistant position encompasses a blend of administrative, commercial, recruitment, and management support functions, ensuring efficient and independent operations across our training centers.
This multifaceted role is designed to deliver extensive assistance to our educational programs, with a strong emphasis on client satisfaction for both participants and funding bodies.
Depending on the specific requirements of the organization, the Training Assistant may report to various supervisors:
- Reporting to the Management and Services Supervisor in a training facility
- Reporting to the Regional Development Executive if the emphasis is on commercial and regional aspects
The Training Assistant collaborates closely with the Training Coordinator and Pathway Support Supervisor. It is the manager's responsibility to delegate tasks and oversee workload distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Administrative Management Support:
- Oversee services and training for participants from enrollment through to completion
- Handle administrative duties such as registrations, document preparation, and monitoring
- Ensure precise record-keeping in both internal and external systems
- Assist in organizing assessment panels and managing their compensation
2. Recruitment and Access Facilitation:
- Provide information and support to visitors, partners, and prospective learners
- Guide individuals in selecting courses, understanding training entitlements, and accessing services
- Engage in recruitment strategy development and execution
- Promote training offerings and attract suitable candidates
3. Commercialization and Client Management:
- Maintain client databases, conduct sales activities, and facilitate client conversion
- Assist clients with funding applications and provide financial guidance
- Develop training documentation, establish training schedules, and prepare necessary materials
- Collaborate with commercial teams and external stakeholders
The Training Assistant is a vital position classified at level 8 due to the expertise and dedication required. Candidates should possess relevant skills and a minimum of 3 years of administrative or commercial experience in the training or professional integration sectors.
