Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and organized Commercial Fruit and Vegetable Sales Associate to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective display of fresh produce in our stores.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Store Manager in maintaining a visually appealing and well-organized produce section
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments of fresh produce to ensure quality and compliance with company standards
- Rotate and restock produce displays to ensure maximum visibility and sales
- Participate in sales promotions and merchandising initiatives to drive sales and customer engagement
- Monitor and maintain the quality and freshness of produce, removing any unsold or spoiled items
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to plan and execute inventory management and ordering processes
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company health and safety standards
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail or food service environment
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service
