Field Service Manager
Your role and responsibilities
ABB's Motion division stands as the premier provider of drives and motors worldwide. We offer our clients a comprehensive array of electric motors, generators, drives, and services, complemented by mechanical power transmission products and integrated digital solutions for powertrains. Our offerings cater to a wide range of automation applications across transportation, infrastructure, assembly, and process industries. The working model for this position is as follows: LinkedIn #hybrid. You will be tasked with delivering various services to clients, focusing on variable speed drives, with missions primarily in France and occasional international assignments. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing technical support via telephone
- Commissioning products and/or systems at client locations
- Conducting expert assessments and preventive maintenance tasks
- Performing corrective maintenance
- Documenting service reports
- Ensuring on-call customer service as part of service agreements
- Promoting the service offerings during client interactions
- Adhering to the Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment policy, and participating in improvement initiatives
- Regularly updating information for the administrative tracking of projects.
Qualifications for the role
- A minimum of 2 years of higher education or a degree in electrical engineering
- At least 2 years of experience in customer service
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Attributes such as autonomy, availability, rigor, mobility, responsiveness, and strong customer relations
- Willingness to travel (70%)
- A strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Environment regulations: HSE is a collective responsibility.
