We are seeking an Accommodation Monitor to join our Asylum Seeker Accommodation Center. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting vulnerable individuals in their everyday lives and aiding their integration into the community.
- Oversee and organize group activities alongside the educational staff
- Assist in the daily operations of the center
- Collaborate with the team to develop effective solutions
- Provide in-person and telephone assistance, guidance, and information to residents
- Encourage independence and foster social connections among asylum seekers
- Facilitate resident involvement in center programs
- Engage in partnership development and suggest enhancement strategies
- Support individuals or groups in collaboration with social service professionals
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and supervise external service providers
- Ensure efficient management of resources, inventory, and finances
- Monitor technical systems and uphold safety standards
- Handle administrative responsibilities and financial oversight
- Report to management regarding activities and any challenges faced
This position may require occasional travel, thus a valid driver's license is necessary.
