About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Lead Software Engineer - Platform/Server to spearhead the technical vision and strategy for the Platform/Server organization. As a key member of our engineering team, you will report to our Associate Director of Engineering - Jianjun Zhou and be responsible for:

  • Leading the technical vision and strategy for the Platform/Server organization
  • Mentoring engineering teams to foster their career growth and technical skills
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes
  • Designing and implementing scalable and efficient solutions
  • Ensuring high-quality code and adherence to industry standards

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 6+ years of professional work experience in Golang (GO) + Consumer-facing backend experience
  • Experience with relational databases (such as MySQL, SQL, Postgres, sharding, RDS, RDBMS, or data modeling)
  • Experience in mentoring engineering teams to foster their career growth and technical skills
  • Able to work in-office 5 days a week in Las Vegas (relocation assistance available for brand new Vegas HQ)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a technical field of study, or equivalent industry experience
