Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will cultivate a strong technological culture at Hexa and contribute to the creation of outstanding companies.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Attracting Technology Founders
    • Collaborate with Hexa partners and the Talent team to refine the partnership process with technology founders;
    • Conduct comprehensive technical evaluations to assess candidates and share recruitment best practices.
  2. Promoting Hexa's Technological Culture: Act as a technology ambassador to enhance Hexa's tech culture, embedding it within our core values.
    • Organize technology events featuring inspiring speakers and engaging topics to attract more tech founders;
    • Establish and nurture relationships with tech experts and communities to identify and recruit top talent.
  3. Serving as a Technology Advisor: Foster a robust tech culture within our startup initiatives by providing guidance on technical strategy, team development, and assisting founders in overcoming technical obstacles.
    • Define what to build (as opposed to what to purchase): assist in transforming ideas into viable startup projects.
    • Share your expertise on best technological practices.
    • Support our partners during the ideation phase of their projects, assessing the technical feasibility of their business concepts: identify what is practical from a technology standpoint in both the short and long term.
    • Ensure teams are developing the most efficient and high-quality products.
  4. Building Internal Tools: Internal tools are crucial at Hexa, directly aiding in our acceleration and scaling efforts.
    • Oversee existing internal tools, such as Zenvest, our internal club deal management software;
    • Take full responsibility for the management and development of new tools.

Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise & Leadership
    • A minimum of 6 years of experience in a technology leadership role;
    • Extensive experience in recruiting and mentoring tech teams, along with candidate assessment;
    • Proficient in FullStack JS with a hands-on approach;
    • Able to deliver code and iterate rapidly.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset & Independence
    • Familiarity with early-stage environments: experience as a tech founder is highly advantageous;
    • Ability to work independently, without the need for additional developers: accustomed to minimal supervision.
  • Business Acumen & Product Insight: A comprehensive understanding of both the technical and business aspects of our projects.
  • Technologically Savvy, Agile & Inquisitive: Stay informed about the rapidly evolving SaaS landscape (new technologies, libraries, and models).
  • Strong Networking, Organizational, and Communication Skills.
