Job Title: Criminal Intelligence Officer - Human Trafficking & Smuggling of Migrants

Job Summary:

INTERPOL is seeking a highly skilled Criminal Intelligence Officer to join its Human Trafficking and Smuggling of Migrants unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and disseminating intelligence on human trafficking and smuggling operations, as well as providing support to member countries in their efforts to combat these crimes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, analyze, and disseminate intelligence on human trafficking and smuggling operations
  • Provide support to member countries in their efforts to combat human trafficking and smuggling
  • Collaborate with other INTERPOL units and member countries to share intelligence and best practices
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including law enforcement agencies and NGOs

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as law enforcement, criminology, or international relations
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in law enforcement or a related field
  • Proven track record of analyzing and disseminating intelligence on human trafficking and smuggling operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be based in Lyon, France, and will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team.

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate will be required to obtain INTERPOL security clearance, which involves a background check and other security procedures.

Language:

The working language of the unit is English, and the successful candidate will be required to have a high level of proficiency in English.
