JOB DIMENSIONS

The incumbent will oversee all activities related to the Subsea and Completion interfaces for the Project involving the development of multiple wells.


RESPONSIBILITIES
HSE &

GHG RESPONSIBILITY:

1. Ensure compliance with the company's HSEQ MAESTRO, the 12 golden rules, and all relevant policies and procedures.

3. Demonstrate Sustainability Leadership by optimizing subsea and completion designs to minimize GHG emissions and contribute to the GHG roadmap for the project.

SUBSEA &

COMPLETION ENGINEERING:

4. Ensure adherence to the company's drilling referential throughout the well engineering work produced by the team.
5. Identify and submit for approval all necessary derogations.

Subsea Engineering:
a. Define Completion/Subsea boundaries in collaboration with the SPS team.
b. Ensure timely preparation and delivery of SPS Equipment and Rig Equipment interfaces.
c. Coordinate interfaces with DW/SBS (Subsea Test Tree and X-Tree equipment).
d. Facilitate the integration of Completion equipment into SPS modules.
e. Monitor FAT and SITs to secure the interfaces between Completion and SPS contractors.
f. Develop strategies for deploying X-Tree from a dedicated vessel, including design phases and necessary supply launches.

Completion Engineering:
a. Oversee and validate Upper and Lower Completion designs based on FP metier studies.
b. Collaborate closely with the Reservoir team to comprehend the local context and achieve project production targets.
c. Review and validate the well completion design report for the project's development, which will support subsequent tenders and detailed completion engineering design phases. Review project SOR's.
8. Optimize completion designs to reduce costs, GHG emissions, and project delivery timelines.
9. Prepare and issue well suspension philosophy following upper completion installation, ensuring implementation within project timelines.
10. Contribute to the generic Technological Risk Assessment for the development wells, documenting as studies and projects progress.

11. Collaborate with the company's team to prepare calls for tenders for LLIs and services (OCTGs, Completion, and Subsea Equipment). Lead the tender process with team support, analyze and clarify bids, and prepare RTAs.

Upper and Lower Completion, Well Intervention, Subsea-related contracts under Drilling and Wells perimeter packages.

Local Content:
Define necessary Local Content requirements and implement them in the CFTs.

MAIN OBJECTIVES OF THE SERVICES

  • Prepare Subsea designs and address interfaces with the SPS contractor.
  • Review and validate completion philosophy and design.
  • Ensure the long-term reliability of completion well assets, meeting reservoir needs while ensuring cost efficiency.
  • Initiate and lead required CFTs for completion equipment and services.
CONTEXT & ENVIRONMENT

The activities occur within the pre-FID phase of a significant project, characterized by a multidisciplinary team coordinating development studies on Deep and Shallow Water discoveries.

The project faces technical challenges related to reservoir development and management, Lease & Operate FPSO, and subsea production/injection system definition.

The project's team aims to maximize economic results by optimizing reserves, schedules, reducing costs, and minimizing Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions while maintaining high technical quality and H3SE standards.


QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Engineering background (master's degree or equivalent).
  • Senior Subsea engineer with extensive experience in subsea interfaces with SPS and completion equipment well design engineering (15 years).
  • Strong exposure to subsea drilling and completion operations.
  • Previous assignments in one of the company's Subsea projects.
  • Excellent team spirit, strong communication skills for managing interfaces with other packages and entities, autonomous, proactive, and energetic.
  • Fluent in French and English.
