As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing internal strategies, policies, procedures, processes, and programs to prevent violations of law, rule, or regulation.
Key Responsibilities- Compliance Program Development: Design, develop, deliver, and maintain best-in-class Compliance programs, policies, and practices for ICRM.
- Regulatory Compliance: Review various materials to ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
- Risk Identification and Escalation: Identify potential risks and escalate for further review, as required.
- Reporting and Documentation: Create and maintain reports for control, tracking, and analysis purposes and ensure appropriate and secure retention of documents.
- Investigation and Response: Work with more senior staff in investigating and responding to raised compliance risk management issues and preparing routine correspondence.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Interact and work with other areas within ICRM, as necessary.
- Policy and Training Initiatives: Coordinate and track policy, training, and other compliance risk management initiatives.
- Compliance Program Materials: Assist in the preparation, editing, and maintenance of Compliance program-related materials.
- Compliance Knowledge: Knowledge of Compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks, and typologies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization.
- Project Management Skills: Strong project management and organizational skills with the capability to handle multiple projects at one time.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree; experience in compliance, legal, or other control-related function in the financial services firm, regulatory organization, or legal/consulting firm, or a combination thereof; Advanced degree a plus.
