Role of the Mechanical Engineer:
As a Remote Mechanical Engineer at a.m.i consulting, you will be instrumental in the design, evaluation, and execution of mechanical systems for our industrial initiatives. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the efficiency, safety, and dependability of our mechanical systems, thereby significantly enhancing the success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical systems while adhering to international standards and best practices.
- Optimize rotating machinery, HVAC systems, and conduct structural assessments.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers to seamlessly integrate mechanical systems with electrical designs, instrumentation, and controls.
- Work alongside piping engineers on system design, material selection, and fabrication processes.
- Coordinate with civil engineers on foundation design to ensure structural integrity and effective project management.
- Utilize 2D and 3D CAD modeling and design software to produce detailed project plans and blueprints.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards such as ASME, API, IEC, and other applicable codes.
- Provide technical support and guidance to remote project teams, ensuring timely and efficient project execution.
- Conduct thorough reviews and inspections to uphold the highest quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in mechanical system design, particularly in rotating equipment, HVAC, and structural analysis.
- Strong technical proficiency in electrical system design, instrumentation, and controls.
- Expertise in piping system design, material selection, and fabrication.
- Competence in civil engineering, particularly in foundation design and construction management.
